Our client, a global CDMO in pharmaceutical manufacturing, is recruiting for a Procurement Specialist to join their new and exciting large-scale CAPEX investment programme. With a mission to provide process development and cGMP production in cell culture, microbial fermentation, and gene therapies, this is an outstanding opportunity make a genuine contribution to the biopharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities :
- Review and approval of subcontracts and purchase orders, change orders for commercial compliance to include negotiating and validating pricing and ensure prime contract flow down terms and conditions.
- Review Track purchasing (orders) and contract approvals and ensure timely processing
- Collaborate with Building PM’s and responsible engineers (WPO’s) to ensure subcontract and purchase order award timeline meet project schedule
- Monitor Subcontract and vendor performance as well as subcontract administrator and buyer challenge and elevate issues as required to Procurement Lead
- Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
- Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm change orders
- Signing and reviewing purchasing agreements with vendors, monitoring their performance and renegotiating contracts
- Monitor / track Agreements to ensure contract value is not exceeded prior to amendment
