ESTIMATED PAY RANGE
65,000 - $90,000 annually, DOE
JOB SUMMARY
As a Procurement Specialist, you may : manage purchasing activity for concurrent new product development programs; create, forecast, and execute sourcing and tooling plans to ensure product launch meets all program targets for quality, cost, and timing; manage direct material cost of the product; assist with R&D, co-design, and innovation; influence sourcing decisions for new product; work with suppliers to ensure commitments and project deliverables; manage negotiation and implementation of all technical modifications; manage the prototype ordering (RFQ, negotiation, ordering), and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline or Supply Chain management or Associate Degree in an Engineering discipline or Supply Chain management with 5+ years of relevant experience required
Experience with product development cycle and purchasing methodologies required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Advanced knowledge of MS Office required
