Job title : Tactical Procurement Specialist

Location : Galveston County, Texas

Sector : Chemicals Manufacturing

Role Overview

Ensure this leading Petrochemical facility has the correct goods and services available to meet production plans. Responsible for strategic development, negotiation, delivery and ongoing management of key third party goods and service vendors.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Execute site technical procurement requirements
Oversee and optimize the sourcing of low value goods and services
Produce and manage the RFQ process
Ensure accurate and timely management of SAP material master data and agreements.

Education / Experience

Experience of gaining quotes and sourcing activities from vendors

Strong IT skills including Excel, Word and Powerpoint

Communicating and influence internal and external stakeholders

SAP working knowledge and experience

Previous Procurement or Business Administration experience in complex manufacturing highly desirable
