I am a recruiter specializing in Supply Chain Management and I am working with a chemical manufacturing company recruiting for a Procurement Specialist. This position is located near Mechanicsville, Virginia and will be in office five days a week. Below is an overview :
Procurement Specialis t – Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this position will be responsible for managing up to $75M global spend of raw materials.
- Procure wide range of chemicals / raw materials
- Develop / improve procurement process
- Drive Total Cost of Ownership
- Source new vendors and maintain relationships
