Job description
Under limited supervision, define and clearly articulate requirements (user stories) and acceptance criteria (user cases). Owns the product vision and product backlog. Builds and leverages solid working relationships with business and product. Assists in the integration of programs across channels with internal partners and manages program effectiveness against target metrics. Manages requirements and prioritization within the product backlog through business value ROI, alignment with product strategy and resource capacity. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 4 years of experience. The position requires experience with : Business / System Solution Design : in particular the ability to consider business goals and envision solutions to meet these goals by changing business processes and / or systems – including consideration of ROI; Business / System Analysis Methodologies including Business Process Modeling (BPM) and Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT); Business / System Modeling which requires the use of tools (like MS Visio) to create flows and models of the solution; SAFe / Agile methodologies; Data Analysis using SQL; System troubleshooting and root cause analysis; test planning; strong analytical, project management, human relations and communication skills. Position allows for telecommuting from home within commuting distance of Plano, TX.
- Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education.
