- Lead by Example Set the standard for design quality through hands-on contributions, including user flows, interaction models, wireframes, and visually compelling mockups. Serve as a champion for cohesive and inclusive design practices.
- Collaboration & Partnership Build strong, trust-based relationships with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders. Lead discussions to align on goals, dependencies, and trade-offs. Partner with engineering to bring design concepts to life, maintaining quality and consistency.
- Mentorship & Culture Inspire and mentor designers, fostering an environment of learning and creative exploration. Cultivate a culture of innovation, empathy, and inclusion that enables every team member to thrive and contribute their best work.
- Design Leadership Advocate for user-centered design thinking and the role of design in achieving business outcomes. Act as a design system steward, guiding teams to maintain and evolve standards for visual, interaction, and accessibility excellence.
- Storytelling & Influence Communicate compelling narratives that articulate the rationale behind design decisions, inspire stakeholders, and align cross-functional teams. Use data, customer insights, and prototypes to build alignment around shared goals.
