Key Responsibilities :
As a Project Engineer in Land Development you’ll bring technical skills and innovative problem-solving to a wide range of projects. Core responsibilities include :
- Assist with site layout, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility planning, and erosion control across diverse land development projects.
- Perform planning analyses, prepare both preliminary and final design documents, and oversee the permitting process.
- Take the lead on designing water and sanitary sewer systems, including layout and planning for subdivisions.
- Design erosion and sediment control plans in accordance with state regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate closely with engineers, planners, and surveyors to ensure cohesive project execution and successful outcomes.
- Keep project documentation up to date and ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations within the Northern Virginia area.
