Job descriptionCustomer Experience : Engage with customers by providing assistance with products and services, resolving any issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through excellent service. Operations : Under pharmacist supervision, assist in pharmacy practices as per regulations and company standards. Perform tasks including entering and processing prescriptions, patient counseling, and health services within your scope of practice as an intern. Report prescription errors immediately to the supervising pharmacist as per company policy. Handle cash transactions accurately and assist customers in finding products. Manage inventory tasks such as ordering and unpacking pharmaceuticals. Maintain cleanliness and order in the pharmacy department. Complete additional assignments as required. Complete all required training to stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.
Job Objectives :
- Assist pharmacists and pharmacy team members to ensure optimal patient experiences while adhering to state and federal regulations.
- Utilize pharmacy systems for patient and drug information and prescription processing.
- Create a delightful customer experience through your interaction with patients.
- Acquire knowledge of pharmacy policies, procedures, and best practices essential for a future pharmacist.

Preferred candidates will have experience in a retail environment or with Walgreens and demonstrate strong math skills.
