Job description

Job Title : Product Manager

Location : This position is based in our Campbell, California offices. This position is hybrid & full-time

Why Imperative Care?

Do you want to make a real impact on patients? Imperative Care is changing the way stroke is treated. As part of our team, you'd be developing breakthroughs that will revolutionize the future of stroke care. Every day, the technologies that we develop at Imperative Care directly impact human lives. Our focus is on the needs of the patient, and they come first in everything we do.

What You'll Do

Imperative Care is seeking a Product Manager to lead the commercialization of a differentiated new technology aimed at expanding treatment capabilities for physicians caring for patients with stroke and other neurovascular conditions. This role offers the unique opportunity to drive market entry into a new segment, shaping the strategy, messaging, and execution of a highly innovative product portfolio to address critical unmet clinical needs.

The ideal candidate combines a strong understanding of the neurovascular clinical landscape with a deep passion for advancing medical technology. You will work cross-functionally with R&D, clinical, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product launch and adoption, while serving as the voice of the physician and patient throughout the development and go-to-market process. This is a high-impact role ideal for a mission-driven professional looking to make a real difference in the lives of patients and the physicians who care for them.

  • Review customer requirements and craft recommendations for product enhancements and / or identify opportunity for potential new products.
  • Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, sales force, and R&D staff to assess market needs for product enhancements, or new products.
  • Analyze information on product offerings, including features, pricing, and competitive landscape
  • Create and execute innovative marketing programs to increase revenue.
  • Develop sales training materials and tools for use by the sales workforce.
  • Lead product launch plans, forecasts, and marketing strategy activities.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or related field, and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or a combination of education / training and experience.
  • Experience leading one or more product launches from concept through commercialization
  • Knowledge of the neurovascular clinical landscape is preferred
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, take initiative, and apply analytical skills to accomplish short and long-range projects; capable of anticipating needs and recommending actions with minimal direction.
  • Ability to influence decision-making and action across the organization, independent of reporting structure.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand technical aspects of products.
  • Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
  • Willing to travel 30 to 40%.
  • Employee Benefits include a stake in our collective success with stock options, competitive salaries, a 401k plan, health benefits, generous PTO, and a parental leave program.

    Salary Range : $135,000 - 146,000 / annually

Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Imperative Care considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, and internal equity, as well as location, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
