The Product Marketing Manager should be a seasoned, self-driven leader responsible for strategically leading marketing initiatives within the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Retail and eCommerce category. This role owns the end-to-end go-to-market strategy, ensuring successful product launches and sustained growth across retail and eCommerce channels. This role will bring a deep understanding of target customers, their challenges, and market opportunities, and translate those insights into clear, compelling messaging that demonstrates how Panasonic solutions solve real customer needs. This role will lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion. The Product Marketing Manager will possess a well-rounded skill set, including experience in product marketing, public relations, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration, while ensuring strong product performance and market presence. A strong emphasis will be placed on strategic thinking, attention to detail, and data-driven decision-making, with the ability to lead product launches from concept through execution. Additionally, this role will provide clear direction, leadership, and support to team members, ensuring alignment and successful delivery of all product marketing initiatives.

Product Marketing Management, Go-to-Market Strategy Development & Execution

  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies across retail and eCommerce channels
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research to understand customer needs, behaviors, and market dynamics
  • Develop and refine target audience personas and customer segmentation to inform strategy and execution
  • Translate insights into clear positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks that resonate with target audiences
  • Identify growth opportunities and drive customer acquisition strategies within the IAQ category
  • Lead product launches from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Monitor product performance and optimize strategies using data, analytics, and market feedback
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities

Sales Enablement, DAM Ownership, Collateral Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Own and manage Digital Asset Management system, ensuring all assets are accurate, up to date, and aligned with established naming conventions
  • Establish, enforce, and maintain standardized naming conventions and taxonomy to improve asset searchability and usability for internal teams, distributors, and customers
  • Ensure all product content (images, videos, spec sheets, collateral) is properly organized and maintained to support consistent customer experience across all platforms
  • Partner with Product Management, Sales, and Digital/COE teams to align on product positioning, messaging, and launch readiness
  • Provide ongoing sales support with content, and tools to enable effective sell-through of IAQ products
  • Draft engaging, consumer-focused messaging for IAQ products, focusing on benefits, features, and solutions for end-users

Budget, Trade Show and PR Management

  • Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI
  • Track and report on campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed
  • Partner with PR agencies to drive awareness through media relations, press releases, and industry placements
  • Lead planning and execution of trade shows and industry events, including logistics, creative, and sales alignment

This position is located in Newark NJ and is Hybrid.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree preferred Marketing, Business Management or other relevant discipline 8+ years of marketing experience in product marketing or product management, with a focus on go-to-market strategy development and execution Proven track record of driving product growth, increasing brand awareness, and acquiring customers in competitive markets Experience working within retail and eCommerce environments, with a strong understanding of channel dynamics, customer behavior, and go-to-market execution Strong analytical skills and experience using data and analytics to optimize marketing efforts and drive product success

  • Other Requirements: Approx. 20% travel per year.
