Production Program Specialist
You will serve as a PRODUCTION PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities include analyzing and determining the cause of production program delays, extracting production data to provide recommendations and solutions, coordinating work with various support codes and trade shops responsible for execution of production tasks, providing input on policies, procedures and processes to improve production program output, and providing input on the development and review of production training.
Requirements include demonstrating at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing research and analyzing data from multiple systems to determine the cause of program / operational deficiencies and providing recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience : successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR possession of an LL.M. that is related to this position being filled. A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
Additional Information includes this position being covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program, temporary appointments may be extended up to 3 years at the discretion of management, temporary promotions may be extended up to 5 years at the discretion of management, temporary actions taken under this announcement may be made permanent without further competition, and temporary actions taken under this announcement may be terminated at any time before the established not-to-exceed date.
