We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Chemist to join our innovative team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be a key player in developing and improving our silicone and adhesive coating products. This individual will bring their expertise in formulation and chemistry to bear on creating cutting-edge solutions that meet our clients' diverse needs. Strong experience with silicone formulating background is a must. 1k and 2k silicone rubber. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities :

1. Lead the development and optimization of silicone and adhesive coating formulations to meet specified performance criteria and manufacturing processes.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful scale-up of new products from lab to manufacturing.

3. Utilize a deep understanding of chemistry to solve complex technical problems and drive continuous improvement.

4. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior chemists in the team.

5. Maintain detailed documentation of all formulation and testing activities.

6. Stay abreast of latest advancements in chemistry and related fields to foster innovation.

7. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations in all laboratory and manufacturing activities.

8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project status, challenges, and results.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field; advanced degree preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

3. Extensive experience in silicone and adhesive coating formulation. 1k and 2k silicone rubber

4. Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.

5. Solid understanding of chemistry principles and their application in a manufacturing setting.

6. Proven problem-solving abilities and experience in driving continuous improvement.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

9. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

10. Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in a laboratory and manufacturing setting.
