Job position description :

Were looking for a full-time General Manager who will provide day to day management of the American Indian Consulting Services (AICS), a for-profit subsidiary of NADC and participant in the 8(a)-procurement program through the US Small Business Administration (SBA).

The General Manager must maintain the highest level of integrity and lead by example in all areas. Specific duties include but are not limited to :

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop private / public partnerships to expand and increase contracting opportunities using the SBA 8(a) program or disadvantaged status of AICS.
• Provide technical assistance and training for contract management, RFPs, safety, etc. as required by federal and private sector customers.
• Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, market characteristics, cost and markup factors for AICS proposals.
• Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business development, such as cash flow, capital needs, research and developments and monitoring market trends with the government or private sector.
• Negotiate, develop proposals, and manage contracts awarded to AICS through SBA and other agencies and / or companies.
• Develop partnerships utilizing programs allowed by the SBA and other private sector vehicles.
• Research Federal / State government forecasts to develop long term acquisition strategies.
• Provide reports as required by the SBA as a participant in the 8(a)-procurement program.
• Travel as required in order to meet the roles and responsibilities of the position.
