WWC Global, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is currently seeking Strategic Planners to support United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM). This position will support USINDOPACOM and its mission partners with the organizational resources necessary to identify, analyze, and eliminate capability gaps so that USINDOPACOM can maintain a competitive edge and meet the U.S. National Defense Strategy (NDS) and National Military Strategy (NMS) objectives.
The Strategic Planner researches, gathers, and analyzes information to recommend updates to existing policies and procedures, and solutions to improve strategic and operational planning; prepares reports on strategy ideas and presents research finding to senior management; aligns processes, resources planning and department goals with overall strategy and provides support an insight into significant organizational changes; shall plan, analyze, design, and provide recommendations on matters such as campaign plans, operational plans (OPLANs), contingency plans (CONPLANs), strategic initiatives and long-term vision for INDOPACOM and related partners.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Determining how to use INDOPACOM's capabilities to achieve long-term objectives while considering the associated risks.
- Providing comprehensive training services to enhance the operational readiness and effectiveness of the US military, civilian personnel and foreign partners associated with INDOPACOM.
- Assisting with the design and delivery of Command Post Exercises, Field Training Exercises, and Table Top Exercises.
- Coordinating with allied and partner nations to strengthen alliances, enhance interoperability, and promote regional security cooperation.
- Assisting with facilitation of bilateral training events and large-scale multinational exercises involving multiple countries.
- Based on a strong understanding of relevant Joint Publications, applying concepts and doctrine to the analysis, development, and implementation of relevant plans, strategies, doctrine, policies, directives, and instructions.
This position is contingent on contract modification and funding.
Expected salary range : $96,000 - $140,000
