Job Description
A reputable metal manufacturing company in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking a talented Production Coordinator to join their team. This position will primarily focus on coordinating and planning the production schedule to ensure efficient operations and timely order completion. The successful candidate will also be responsible for analyzing material loading and scheduling to optimize machine efficiency and maintain accurate inventory levels.
Scheduling Responsibilities :
- Ensure daily and weekly schedules are distributed and followed
- Balance inventory levels and machine orders for on-time and complete order completion
- Optimize weekly and monthly capacities by value stream
- Achieve on-time delivery goals and consistently meet customer needs
- Maintain inventory accuracy through best practices and regular cycle counts
