Total Talent Solutions is hiring Assemblers on behalf of our client, Wabtec Corporation, in Chicago, IL. If you're looking for a stable manufacturing job in Chicago with a 4-day workweek, competitive pay, and long-term opportunity, this role is built for you.

Pay: $19.00/hour
Shift: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm | Monday-Thursday

As an Assembler, you'll play a hands-on role in producing high-quality rail components that keep freight and transit systems moving safely and efficiently across the world. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, or industrial labor-or those looking to grow a career in manufacturing.

What You'll Do:

• Assemble metal products such as draft gears, slack adjusters, handbrakes, and hydraulic cylinders
• Read blueprints and follow work instructions to position and fasten parts
• Operate basic shop equipment, including drill presses and riveting machines
• Perform disassembly and salvage of components as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace using 5S principles
• Support material handling and general labor tasks as required

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to read safety instructions, perform basic math, and solve practical problems
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
