The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC seeks applicants for a part-time (60%) non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor of Dentistry in the Department of Prosthodontics. Responsibilities will include, pre-clinical and clinical, teaching in the area of restorative dentistry with an emphasis on teaching removable prosthodontics to predoctoral students in the DDS program. Candidates must have a DDS / DMD degree from a CODA-Accredited school and be eligible to be licensed in the state of California. Advanced degree in the area of Advanced Prosthodontics from a CODA-Accredited school is highly desirable.
The annual base salary range for this position is $57,740 - $68,640. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education / training, key skills, international peer equity, deferral, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
