Title : Program Director
Location : Beverly, Chicago, Illinois
Schedule : Monday to Friday (9 : 00am - 5 : 00pm)
Summary :
The Program Director plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the Unaccompanied Children (UC) Program, which provides vital services to youth residing in our Youth Residential Services (YRS). The Program Director is responsible for effectively operating one of our specialized residential homes tailored for UC participants. Key responsibilities include providing leadership to Associate Directors, Managers, and Supervisors within the program and ensuring that all staff comply with the rigorous requirements set forth by our funding bodies.
The program encompasses a wide range of essential services designed to support the well-being and development of the children in our care. These services include not only orientation and casework but also comprehensive case management addressing the unique needs of each child. Educational opportunities, such as structured learning and English as a Second Language classes, are fundamental components, alongside counseling services that promote emotional and mental health. Additionally, the program incorporates substance abuse education and prevention initiatives to equip children with the knowledge and skills to make safe and informed choices.
The Program Director also focuses on strengthening relationships with the community and law enforcement, facilitating collaboration and support systems that enhance the safety and integration of the youth in the program. The Director works closely with staff to develop annual Success Objectives, which outline individual accountabilities and expected work volumes, ensuring that objectives are transparent and aligned with the organization’s vision.

Work Arrangement :
This role is not eligible for remote work. All hours will be worked in person. This position has an active presence at all assigned programs on a rotating basis.
