Salary : $90,000 - $125,000
Statements of Purpose :
At Balance Treatment Center, our mission is to improve the lives of individuals, their families and those in their communities by addressing the issues that are preventing growth. The PROGRAM DIRECTOR fulfills direct service, as well as providing oversight, supervision, and accountability to staff. When working in the Intensive Outpatient Program may be working with adults as well as adolescent clients. At Balance Residential Treatment Program, only adult clients will be admitted. Reports to Program Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Maintain case load of assigned clients and groups in programs as needed.
- Maintain the well-being of clients and the integrity of the program.
- Ensure that all program staff provide and document services in accorandce with their assigned roles, policies and proceudres and all licensing and accreditation requierments.
- Provide training and supervison of assigned staff.
- Provide clinical supervision staff including those pursuing licensure.
- Ensure staff includes a consumer and client-centered approach to services in all treatment activities.
- Ensure that all client assessments and treatment or case management treatmemt plans address impairments and strengths and are consistent with the clients diagnosis.
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, hiring and training of all program staff.
- Provide routinely scheduled supervision, one on one and consultation to staff adhering to ethical / legal HIPAA standards of practice, as well as Balance Treatment core values and mission.
- Participate in the development of program policies and procedures.
- Perform monthly chart reviews and gather information for the PI committee.
- Ensure charting and paperwork meet agency, quality assurance and funding source requirements.
- Attend and participate in off site marketing and community events to promote programs and company mission.
- Provide after-hours on-call crisis response / consultation.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and lead as required.
- Conduct initial assessments as well as psychosocial assessments as needed by program directors.
- Complete all documentation in a timley fashion.
- Audit program charts for compliance with billing requierments such as UR, Attendance, notes.
- Timely review and approval of notes.
- Provide crisis and child abuse consultation for program staff.
- Attend and complete all in-service training and educational workshops.
- Attend all required staff meetings and trainings.
- Maintain knowledge of and act in accordance with Balance Treatment Center mission and philosophy.
- Maintain knowledge of and act in accordance with current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, professional boundaries, and related issues.
- Demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversities of clients and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS :
A Masters or Doctorate degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or social science. A license, or registration issued by the governing state board is required . A minimum of two years experience in evaluating and / or treating persons suffering from mental illness and / or substance abuse is preferred.
