Creighton UniversityOmaha, NE, United StatesCreighton University in Omaha, NE is seeking to hire a Program Manager to support Cardiology in the General Medical Education (GME) office.
This role is responsible for supporting the operational management of the Cardiology training program. Assists with programmatic issues including recruiting trainees, administrative workflow, maintaining databases, coordinating and communicating with faculty and trainees. Requires following national accreditation and hospital policies.
Location : This position is based at CUMC Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, NE. We offer flexible scheduling after the initial 6-month orientation period.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Program Director and program faculty and staff to perform duties, including communication, scheduling and correspondence with house staff, students, faculty from other departments, health care professionals who serve as clinician preceptors and others.
- Responsible for general office duties including mail distribution, answering phones, ordering office supplies, taking notes, creating agendas, scheduling lectures, appointment, travel, and compiling minutes for various meetings
- Assist with operations including answering general program email and phone inquiries, data entry, greeting residents & resident rotators, and interview day operational logistics
- Complete projects and tasks that require personal initiative, research, and critical thinking.
- Assist in organizing and planning program activities such as graduation, orientation, and wellness activities
- Manage highly confidential house staff information
- Assist with orienting and giving logistical assistance to new learners in the department
- Organize and prepare data and reports for accreditation processes and current program and house staff evaluation processes.
- Some travel may be required for professional meetings
