Position Summary :

The Sr. Manager, Architecture & Design is responsible for overseeing and managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves leading project teams, coordinating with architects and consultants, and providing strategic direction to achieve project goals.

Coordinates all project efforts in order to ensure effective execution, prepares strategic plans, and serves as primary liaison between third party consultants and ownership. Estimates scope of work and oversees less experienced team members. Handles the most complex projects of the largest magnitude. Responsible for coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.

Prepares strategic plans for project success. Serves as the primary liaison contact with Sr. Dir. of Architecture and Design to complete projects on schedule, within budget, and with maximum ownership satisfaction. Actively manages ownership budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments. Estimates fees, determines the scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts on the most complex projects. Provides oversight and monitoring of the work of less experienced team members. May act in a team leader capacity in the absence of the Sr. Dir. of Architecture and Design.

The right candidate should thrive in working in a dynamic, team environment and work alongside the Product Development team to ensure the brand vision and goals are effectively manifested in design.

Design and Technical Excellence :

• Oversee the design of large developments in hospitality, and commercial applications.
• Participate in or lead the management of deliverables at all project phases.
• Support RCI policies on project delivery, quality control, and safety.
• Have the skills to provide quick mark-ups, alternative solutions for areas that need immediate responses.
• Possess excellent multi-disciplinary technical knowledge.
