Job Title : Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to lead manufacturing improvement projects, focusing on mechatronic equipment development, processes, tooling, automation, and Lean methods. This role will also be responsible for creating manufacturing instructions and ensuring that equipment meets customer requirements and production needs. The hours for this role are Monday through Thursday from 6 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM. This is an in-office position located in Spokane Valley, WA.
Responsibilities
- Drive manufacturing improvement projects, emphasizing mechatronic equipment development, processes, tooling, automation, and Lean methodologies.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing instructions and equipment to support customer requirements and production needs.
- Collaborate closely with the Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor to achieve departmental goals.
- Design, develop, modify, and implement equipment and processes to aid in the overall manufacturing process.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
- Prepare manufacturing methods and work instructions to document manufacturing requirements.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Develop Best Practices and incorporate these into methods and Work Instructions.
- Ensure proper use of and adherence to all safety regulations and equipment.
