About you
You are an experienced Senior Project Estimator with a strong foundation in project controls and a sharp analytical mindset. You bring a deep understanding of construction and engineering principles, particularly within the pipeline industry , and have a track record of producing accurate, data-driven cost estimates that inform key project decisions. You’re comfortable navigating complex project documentation and translating it into clear, comprehensive estimates, timelines, and risk assessments. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to align estimates with project scope and execution plans. Proficient in industry-standard software and tools, you are also an effective communicator who can confidently present to both technical teams and senior leadership.
About the Role
As a Senior Project Estimator, Pipelines, you will play a key role in shaping the financial and strategic foundation of critical infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for developing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates that support project planning, bidding, and execution. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams to ensure estimates align with technical specifications and overall objectives. You will evaluate project documentation, identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies while continuously refining estimates throughout the project lifecycle. Your insights will help drive informed decision-making and contribute to the success of both internal planning and external proposals. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and forward-thinking professional to have a meaningful impact on complex, high-value projects.
About the client
The client is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, their modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.
