We supply just about everything besides plumbing and electrical to build homes. Our focus is on serving professional home builders. Along with providing materials, we install a wide range of products including framing, overhead doors, insulation, gutters, siding, and more. We also manufacture some products including trusses, cabinets, doors, and granite countertops.

Primary purpose : Estimators will review all necessary documents, including but not limited to door schedules, floor plans, hardware sets, specifications, and project schedules.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Team Participation : Actively participate as a member of the Franklin Building Supply commercial door & hardware team.
Contract and Proposal Management : Analyze contract documents and customer needs, preparing accurate proposals quickly and efficiently to help close jobs.
Task Management : Manage tasks with moderate supervision, effectively prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
Relationship Development : Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers, offering superior customer service through responsiveness, professionalism, and accountability.
Continuous Improvement : Remain committed to continuous improvement and demonstrate a results-driven approach to customer interactions.
Requirements : Qualifications :
Experience : 3-5 years of relevant experience required, ideally with knowledge or interest in the commercial door and hardware industry. Strong competency in mathematics is ideal.
Technical Knowledge : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Communication Skills : Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex materials and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Teamwork & Independence : Ability to work both independently and as part of a growing, results-oriented team that values group efforts to meet collective goals.
Task Prioritization : Strong time management skills to prioritize and handle multiple deadline-driven tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Industry Knowledge : A broad understanding of commercial products and a willingness to stay updated on new industry techniques.
