Position Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing team. This role requires a professional with a strong background in commercial construction plumbing estimating and a comprehensive understanding of industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for large commercial, public works, and pipeline projects.
- Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, building plans, and other documentation to develop thorough bid proposals.
- Work closely with upper management, contractors, engineers, and clients to address and resolve potential issues during the pre-construction phase.
- Stay updated on market conditions, construction trends, and supply chain changes.
- Ensure project estimates align with Title 24, OSHPD, and HCAI requirements.
- Participate in bid analysis and assist with contract negotiations.
- Manage the entire bidding process, including opportunity identification, pricing, responding to addendums, and follow-ups.
- Schedule site walks with relevant stakeholders.
- Offer recommendations for cost-saving strategies and value engineering opportunities.
- Maintain a detailed database of past projects and bids for reference.
