Job descriptionLeading both estimating and project management functions across multiple construction projects. Review construction plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness. Perform detailed and accurate quantity take-offs. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed. Coordinate with subcontractors regarding project scope, schedule, and risks. Provide innovative, practical solutions to project challenges. Estimate and manage projects ranging from $50K to $10M. Lead preconstruction planning and provide oversight through project completion. Supervise and support the Superintendent in day-to-day construction activities. Monitor and manage budgets, costs, and financial targets to ensure profitability. Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Superintendent. Ensure environmental, stormwater, and safety programs are followed in accordance with company policies. Oversee quality control initiatives and project closeout documentation. Demonstrate strong delegation, follow-through, and leadership. Maintain a professional, dependable, and ethical approach in all work.
BAHA Construction, Inc. , a Colorado-based company, is currently seeking a qualified Estimator / Project Manager to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with local, state, and federal government projects is highly preferred. Salary range for this position is $50K-$100K annually (depending on experience) and an offer of employment would include several company benefits.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in estimating and 3 years’ experience in project management (field experience a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
