This position will run until filled with the following cutoff date for review : 5 / 13 / 24, 6 / 3 / 24, and every three weeks until filled.
CalPERS seeks a Staff Management Auditor in the Office of Audit Services, in the Employer Compliance Reviews Unit.
Under the supervision of the Employer Compliance Senior Program Auditor (Sr.Pg.A), the Staff Management Auditor (Staff Mgmt A) functions as the first level supervisor and auditor-in-charge of public agency reviews. The incumbent is required to possess a high level of analytical skills, strong knowledge of audit procedures, and comprehensive understanding of all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards). The incumbent is expected to pursue a course of continuing professional education as prescribed by the Standards. Furthermore, the incumbent is expected to adhere to appropriate professional ethics as required by the Standards and CalPERS core values when performing the following duties and responsibilities.
