Summary

This role involves managing various projects within the IT Global Business Services team. The Project Manager will oversee projects of differing sizes and complexities, concentrating on specific business areas, functions, or IT initiatives. The position requires collaboration with business stakeholders, technology advisors, and the execution of process improvements. Projects may focus on enhancing productivity, reducing costs, lowering the total cost of ownership through improved system architecture, and enhancing compliance.

Nature of Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects concurrently, collaborating with business and IT management to identify, prioritize, and schedule new project work within the portfolio roadmap.

• Take ownership and lead assigned projects, ensuring compliance with IT Governance processes and effectively communicating project expectations, progress, and status to stakeholders.

• Maintain a standard Governance, Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC), and Direct Charge methodology, ensuring consistent application across all project phases.

• Manage assigned projects to achieve successful and timely execution of deliverables through personal leadership and guidance to team members.

• Become a subject matter expert in relevant project processes, fostering closer partnership between IT and Business at all levels.

Education and Experience

• Professional qualification with a strong commercial focus.

• 1-3 years of related experience

• Experience (preferred) in a large, international corporate manufacturing environment.

• Process improvement and re-engineering experience.

• Project Management Certification or Experience in IT Infrastructure/Security a plus.

• Manufacturing environment experience a plus

• Ability to communicate effectively and work with all levels within the organization

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong process-oriented skills

• Strong interpersonal skills required

• Ability to work on strict deadlines

• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse, cross-functional team as needed

• Ability to work in ambiguous situations and adapt to change
