Description

This is the entry level professional position in community based psychosocial rehabilitation services for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. The Client Services Manager plans, coordinates, provides and monitors therapeutic, rehabilitative, support and community integration services for adults with severe psychiatric disability designed to assist these individuals to integrate as independently and fully into the life of the community as possible. Client Services Managers work independently and must demonstrate good clinical judgment, decision making, time management and appropriate treatment for consumers in the community.

Reports to : ACT Team Leader

Caseloads are assigned for optimization of client care.

Travel : 50-60%

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology social work, psychosocial rehabilitation or related human services field or Associate's degree in related field and 2 years experience working with individuals with mental illness.
  • Understanding of mental illness and desire to reduce stigma and effectively support this population.
  • Must have a strong commitment to the right and ability of each person with severe and persistent mental illness to live in normal community residences, work in market jobs and have access to helpful, adequate, competent, and continuous supports and services.
  • Direct life experiences with close family members may substitute for some or all of the experience requirement.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, proof of auto insurance and reliable transportation.
