Description
This coordination position plays a vital role within the Production department by supporting the creation of eye-catching costumes, props, literature, and other demonstration materials that make PETA’s theater-style demos unmissable.
This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, quick to troubleshoot, and who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously. We welcome both seasoned professionals and candidates eager to learn, as we’re looking for someone with strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Position Objective :
To coordinate the production of print items, costumes and props
Primary Responsibilities and Duties :
- Coordinate the procurement, creation, and repair of department projects including but not limited to literature, props, and demonstration materials
- Efficiently manage the scheduling, routing, and purchasing of all assigned production projects, guaranteeing timely completion and competitive pricing
- Keep project tracking systems, such as Asana, up-to-date, ensuring clear visibility on progress
- Serve as a key point of communication among designers, external vendors, and project requesters
- Obtain bids and process print orders for assigned projects
- Responsible for administrative tasks for the department, such as filing and coordinating shipments, to support overall operations
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and collaborate with the team to develop solutions and ideas for a variety of projects
- Research and identify potential vendors, resources, and collaborators for various projects
- Execute additional responsibilities as directed by the manager or director, adapting to evolving departmental needs
Requirements
The hourly pay range for this position is $ - $ per hour. The ultimate hourly pay within this range that will be offered to a qualified candidate will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and the cost of living in the area in which the candidate will live and work.
