We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects from inception to completion. This key leadership role involves managing client relationships, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will excel at fostering communication among clients, designers, consultants, and contractors to achieve project goals while maintaining design intent.
Key Responsibilities
Define project scope, estimate fees, and prepare proposals and contracts for projects of varying size and complexity.
Direct and coordinate multidisciplinary teams throughout all project phases, from development to closeout.
Serve as the primary client liaison, responsible for budgeting, scheduling, and strengthening client relationships.
Actively manage project budgets, schedules, programs, team assignments, communications, documentation, and associated administrative tasks.
Monitor project financials and coordinate efforts to meet financial objectives.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient production and coordination.
Supervise and mentor project team members.
Support marketing and business development initiatives.
Position may require a background check due to the nature of potential projects.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
Registered Architect in the state of Arizona or ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire.
Proficiency in project design, production, construction documentation, and contract administration.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate solutions constructively.
Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.
Proven experience managing client and consultant relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.
Preferred Qualifications
At least five years of project management experience.
Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Revit preferred), visualization tools, and graphic design software.
Familiarity with the local market.
Local candidates are preferred.
