Role Summary :
The Superintendent will oversee all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring materials, equipment, and personnel are managed effectively while meeting project goals. This role demands strong leadership in safety, quality control, and subcontractor management to achieve timely and profitable project completion.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and execute construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Lead a culture of safety and compliance, investigating incidents and retraining staff when necessary.
- Oversee subcontractors, site organization, and workflow.
- Manage company staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory programs (Safety, Quality, EEOC).
- Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
- Conduct and lead daily standups and weekly trade meetings.
- Ensure project schedules are created, managed, and updated in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Track and monitor project budgets and costs, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, logs, reports, and tracking records.
- Ensure material and equipment needs are met.
- Manage project closeouts, including pre-punch activities and coordination with stakeholders.
- Support field operations leadership in project planning and execution.
- Participate in contract negotiations and project buyout meetings.
- Recruit and mentor top talent to enhance the team's strength.
