About the Opportunity :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to join a well-established commercial real estate firm in downtown Honolulu. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team while managing the financial reporting and accounting functions for a portfolio of commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for assigned commercial properties.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Manage general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Maintain property budgets and forecasts, assisting with variance analysis.
- Collaborate with property managers and leadership to support financial decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with lease agreements, property taxes, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications :
