- Janitorial tasks such as picking up palm fronds, cleaning bathroom facilities, restocking paper supplies, picking up loose trash around community, cleaning and straightening deck chairs, hosing off decks, sweeping, maintain clean and attractive community, emptying trash cans and bringing trash to disposal.
- Light Maintenance Including : General repairs and maintenance tasks as directed by property manager, including painting, door repairs, general repairs, light plumbing.
- Minor irrigation repairs to include changing broken heads. Running test.
- Receive occasional work orders via email, complete and return to supervisor, electronically.
- Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
- Ability to perform basic maintenance, light electrical, strong cleaning ability, light plumbing, operate all general tools, drywall repair, painting and basic wood working knowledge. Should have own basic tools to perform duties. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and report on all work being completed. Should live within the general area.
- Full time and advancement opportunities will become available to strong performers as new positions become available.
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
- Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
Job Summary
20 Hour + Maintenance Technician including basic custodial duties, for on-site HOA complex in the 10th Ave N / Florida Mango area. 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, either early shift, 8 : 00 am to 12 : 00 pm or late 1 : 00 pm to 5 : 00 pm. Potential for minor flexibility on set times, to accommodate.
Additional hours available as needed at other locations.
Potential to grow to full time.
