For over 60 years, GRC has gone beyond the parameters of traditional property loss control services and continuously strives to provide our clients with solutions to help achieve and maintain a highly protected status. General Responsibilities :
- Surveys - Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate the property and business interruption exposures at client facilities based on NFPA Standards and others as appropriate.
- Develop recommendations based on standards to include loss estimates before and after completion of the recommendations.
- Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems.
- Report and evaluate building construction, occupancy, special and natural hazards.
- Develop loss estimates based on scenarios such as the Maximum Foreseeable Loss Provides training and peer review for other consultants; serve as a technical resource to other consultants Services provided to clients include training, manual and program development, code or regulatory interpretation.
- May prepare and present proposals, develop service instructions, solicit client feedback and prepare stewardship reports.
- Work assigned is typical of higher technical need as well as being in direct contact with upper client management, including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision-makers.
- Professional conduct and excellent written / verbal communication skills are required as the position requires direct contact with upper client management, including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision-makers Provide project management services to include special visits, plan reviews, and oral / written presentations to clients.
