The Proposal Strategist will join our talented group of proposal and marketing professionals responsible for strategic marketing, proposal coordination, event planning, and collateral creation.
Our team plays a key role of winning work at Burns & McDonnell.
Responsibilities include :
Collaborate with our business development managers and business lines to prepare for multi-million-dollar business opportunities, develop compliant and responsive proposals and create compelling content for shortlist interviews and pre-positioning presentations.
Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of preparing, organizing, and submitting proposals in response to RFPs, tenders, or other competitive opportunities.
Lead cross-functional teams, managing proposal timelines, and ensuring the delivery of persuasive and compliant proposals that win new business.
Create visuals and graphics for marketing collateral and proposal content.
Coordinate and strategize industry conferences, business development efforts, and client-focused events, including entertainment, trade shows, booth logistics, sponsorships, and meetings.
Assist in the planning and execution of internal meetings, events and initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field. Applicable years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
4 years' experience in marketing, business development, or sales.
Experience at an A / E firm strongly preferred.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Excellent project management and organization skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.
