The Role at a Glance :

As the Proposal Developer you will report to the Sr. Director of Growth Excellence. Working in partnership with the sales team you will be integral in the Request for Proposal process. You must be an organized individual that is able to support the proposal process, bring content together and to life, and if you know InDesign – even better!

What you’ll be doing :

Collaborate with Business Development Directors (BDDs) to create clear, concise, and compliant responses to Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements across all segments.

Develop and complete non-RFP-driven proposal responses by leveraging templates and repository content to meet BDD requests across various market segments.

Contribute writing and editing expertise as needed to ensure the highest quality deliverables.

Utilize InDesign to layout proposal documents within standardized brand templates, ensuring visual consistency and professional presentation.

Maintain a strong understanding of brand standards and ensure all branding, graphics, and layouts are consistently applied throughout proposals.

Organize and maintain electronic files and archives of all proposal work, including photos, images, and supporting materials.

Communicate clearly and consistently throughout project development to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.

Work efficiently and carefully to deliver quality results on both small and large projects, collaborating with team members while suggesting new approaches to improve formats and layouts.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for :

Must-haves :

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, related field or equivalent experience.

2+ years of related work experience.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign or similar application.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Teams, SharePoint).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong grasp of grammar, punctuation, clarity, readability, and content consistency.

Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Ability to influence others without formal authority while driving a service-oriented approach to meeting deadlines.

Proven ability to meet routine deadlines while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to collaborate across decentralized, cross-functional departments with strong initiative and attention to detail.

Strong conceptual skills, with a high-level sense of design, layout, and typography, and the ability to generate creative design solutions.

Nice-to-haves :

Experience in Contract / Food Service, hospitality, or related industry.

Experience with complex bids, example government bids

Graphic design experience
