ASRC Federal Gulf States Constructors is seeking a Construction Manager to support infrastructure enhancement and sustainment activities at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas. This contract is a base maintenance/operations support-type contract, also known as BMC or BOS.
Responsibilities:
Perform complete cradle-to-grave project management and execution services in support of multi-discipline construction projects under minimal supervision.
Oversee engineering projects for design, design-build, and simplified design in support of construction from any source of funding and with any execution agent.
Lead a small team of construction inspectors to provide construction oversight from ground-breaking through completion of final punch-list.
Support project proposal development and implementation.
Provide support to ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) estimates for projects, as well as risk assessments to support proper project prioritization.
Ensure assigned projects are completed on time and within approved scope and budget.
Actively participate in technical design reviews, and requirements validation. Support a range of design development, analysis or review tasks.
Assist in generation of specifications and engineering data.
Establish and maintain a filing system or databases as needed for tracking project status.
Develop, maintain, and produce documentation in support ROM and Task Plan efforts.
Interface with customers in design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.
Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
Support integration of project resources and scheduling.
Be able to prepare and present presentations/briefings to the Air Force client.
Requirements
Requirements:
Provide for construction management and oversight in all phases and disciplines to include: Civil Structures, Mechanical HVAC, Electrical, and Architectural.
Minimum of Five (5) years’ experience, as a construction project manager with preference for at least two (2) years of public/governmental organization experience.
Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must be a US citizen and currently possess or be able to obtain/maintain a government-issued security clearance.
Be proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 software suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Must maintain a valid US driver's license.
Have ability to perform repetitive physical tasks involving lifting at least 30 lbs.
Be committed to providing for and maintaining a safe working environment.
