Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the gums and other supporting structures of the teeth

- Perform dental surgeries, including dental implant placement and periodontal regenerative procedures

- Administer anesthetics and prescribe medications to alleviate pain and prevent infection

- Evaluate and monitor the progress of patients' treatment plans

- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Essential Job Functions:

- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments to determine the extent of periodontal disease or conditions

- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals

- Perform surgical procedures with precision and expertise, ensuring optimal patient outcomes

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to track progress and treatment success

Skills:

- Doctoral degree in Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD)

- A state license to practice dental medicine

- Strong knowledge of periodontal disease and treatment methodologies

- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
