Available 8 hour Shifts: 6a-2p, 2p-10p, 10p-6a

Available 12 hour Shifts: 6a-6p, 6p-6a

As a Nurse (RN or LPN), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and promoting the well-being of each resident based on their individual care plans and assessments. This position is ideal for experienced, passionate nurses who want to make a meaningful difference in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Nurse Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions during rounds.

• Implement and follow care plans as directed.

• Administer prescribed medications accurately.

• Participate in physician rounds and chart visits.

• Perform narcotic reconciliation between shifts.

• Identify significant changes in resident health and take appropriate action.

• Oversee and support nursing aides during your shift.

• Complete incident and accident reports as per policy.

• Conduct resident discharges in accordance with procedures.

• Complete nursing assessments before contacting physicians.

• Communicate clearly with residents and their families regarding health updates.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.

• Qualifications:

  Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program.

  Licensure:

  • Active LVN or RN license in good standing in the state of Iowa

• Active and current CPR certification
