About the Position:
Job Description
This posting is to establish a pool of qualified applicants for the 2023-2024 academic year for positions at San Bernardino Valley College and Crafton Hills College.

This posting is to establish a pool of qualified applicants positions teaching courses in Psychiatric Technology.
To Note:
Adjuncts hired to teach for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024
Qualifications
Education :
Licensed as Psychiatric Technician or Registered Nurse
AND: Bachelor's degree AND two years of professional experience in the field; OR any associate degree and six years of professional experience in the field.

Experience:
Experience that indicates a sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, including those with physical and learning disabilities.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience teaching Psychiatric Technology courses at the college or professional level. Experience providing services for developmentally/intellectually disabled and/or mentally ill patients.

Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction; vision sufficient to read computer screens and printed documents; and to operate assigned equipment.
Hearing : Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
