The Maintenance & Safety Technician plays a vital role focused on maintaining safety and operational standards. This position requires attentive and proactive action in ensuring that equipment tools and facilities are kept in optimal working condition and comply with strict safety regulations. The technician is responsible for routinely inspecting assessing and performing necessary repairs or adjustments to equipment to prevent potential hazards or disruptions. This role involves a steadfast commitment to promoting a safe working environment while enhancing operational & ExperienceHigh school diploma required; additional technical or mechanical training / certification preferred.3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing knowledge of mechanical and electrical in Microsoft Office and -motivated organized and detail-oriented with strong communication with OSHA safety standards and & AbilitiesAbility to read and interpret safety rules operating manuals and maintenance math skills (addition subtraction multiplication division percentages).Strong problem-solving and reasoning of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and cleanroom of press machines polymers foils materials and basic electrical of quality control methods and RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 100 lbs and regularly move items weighing 50100 standing walking reaching climbing and handling of tools and sitting kneeling or crawling as good vision (close distance color depth perception and focus).Work EnvironmentExposure to production-related odors and moving required (cleanroom gowns gloves hair / beard coverings and protective gear for chemicals).Moderate noise level typical of a manufacturing accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
