Join a dynamic, interdisciplinary team at Denton County MHMR Center, a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic and Local Mental Health Authority dedicated to providing high-quality, trauma-informed, and person-centered psychiatric care to individuals living with serious mental illness. We are seeking a compassionate, board-certified Psychiatrist who is motivated by clinical excellence, community impact, and a trauma informed, person centered approach to care.
As a psychiatrist on our team, you will provide clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with mental health needs in both outpatient and crisis settings. This role involves working with individuals across the lifespan, many of whom experience co-occurring behavioral health conditions, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders.
Preferred Qualities
- A strong belief in the value of community-based psychiatry and recovery-oriented care.
- Experience with individuals with intellectual / developmental disabilities and co-occurring substance use disorders.
- Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and a commitment to trauma-informed practice.
- Comfort with telehealth delivery models and modern electronic documentation systems.
