Qualifications:
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Completion of a 1-year fellowship/residency in health psychology/behavioral medicine or 1 year of relevant clinical experience within the past 4 years.
  • Current, active, unrestricted U.S. psychologist license.
  • No additional certifications required beyond Basic Life Support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological evaluations and diagnose using DSM criteria.
  • Provide individual and group therapy; support patients coping with medical conditions or injuries.
  • Assist with patient rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care.
  • Maintain productivity standards, accurate documentation, and use of clinical systems (e.g., MHS Genesis).
  • Follow infection control, safety, and emergency protocols.
  • Participate in peer review, performance improvement, and staff training.
  • Support Family Advocacy Program requirements.
  • Attend required trainings and meetings; pursue continuing education.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and risk management standards.
