Responsibilities

Seeking a Research Assistant Professor with expertise in Immunology. This person will perform the following duties in NTI lab :

1) Isolation of cells and Sera / Plasma from transplant and covid long haulers

2) Isolate Exosomes and characterize them by western and flow cytometry

3) Perform Cytokine analysis using luminex platform.

Potential to initiate an independent line of original research study that has the potential to garner peer- reviewed extramural support.

Writes and has published peer-reviewed original research reports.

Qualifications

Experience

Two (2) years of experience following the ., . or . degree in a field related to current area of research required.

Beyond minimum required, experience writing grant applications for support of own work preferred.

Education

Doctorate ., . or . degree or equivalent in a relevant field of endeavor required.

Postdoctoral training as a research fellow preferred.

Required : Proficient in computer skills. Mathematical, scientific, reasoning, and oral and written communication skills adequate to initiate independent work.

Training

Laboratory skills and techniques execution and development required.
