Position Summary
Houston Christian University seeks an adjunct professor for the Department of Classics and Biblical Languages, to teach two classes per semester (including lower- and upper-level Latin, and Classical Mythology). All courses will be offered exclusively in remote synchronous format (residence not required). Candidates should be available to begin work in August of 2022. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
Qualifications :
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Classics (or related discipline) by the time of appointment. The desired candidate should be enthusiastic about, and ideally experienced in, remote delivery and should be able to articulate a vision that includes potential teaching strategies and innovations that promise to make this mode of delivery successful.
