Job Description

This Project Manager will be responsible for :

• 3-5+ years of Project Management experience
• Experience managing education projects
• Overseeing scheduling, budgets, documentation, etc. of project from beginning to end
• Oversee the management of successful construction projects
• Preparing reports on construction progress and cost for clients
• Be client-facing and maintain the client relationship
• Negotiate, award, and administer all subcontractors, purchase orders, and change orders on construction projects
• Travel to job site 1-2 days a week

The Successful Applicant

In return for a high value compensation package, a successful candidate will possess the following :

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related experience (preferred)
• Experience managing projects in Chicago
• Experience with education and school projects
• Experience in overseeing projects from inception to completion
• Experience with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations
• Proficient in software applications including Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web-based applications
