GoToTelemed is expanding its innovative telehealth services and is looking for a Licensed Dentist specializing in Teledentistry to join our dedicated team! In this role, you will provide remote dental consultations and care through advanced telecommunication technologies. You will be responsible for assessing patients' dental needs, offering diagnoses and treatment recommendations, and developing comprehensive care plans from the comfort of their homes. Your expertise will not only enhance the accessibility of dental care but also contribute to improving overall patient health and wellbeing. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient management and care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual dental assessments and consultations, providing patients with timely and effective care
  • Diagnose dental conditions and establish treatment plans for patients
  • Educate patients on dental hygiene and preventive care practices during consultations
  • Close collaboration with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care as needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes in the EHR
  • Ensure compliance with telehealth regulations and best practices in teledentistry
  • Stay current with advancements in telehealth technology and dental practices

Requirements

  • Dentistry degree from an accredited dental school
  • Current active dental license in the states served
  • Experience in teledentistry or virtual patient care preferred

Requirements for Successful Practice
