A Typical Day for a Home Care Aide with WesleyLife at Home / Public Health :
- Travel to complete client visits at the pre-scheduled time and location (four visits a day lasting two hours each) (Visits cover all of Polk County - about a -mile radius)
- Perform light housekeeping – including but not limited to vacuuming, dusting, dry mopping, dishwashing, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom, and changing beds
- Do laundry, including washing, drying, and folding clothes
- Monitor client supplies
- Observe and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance
- Follow each client’s care plan and submit documentation using a tablet
- Participate in staff meetings
Current Openings : Full-Time or Part-Time, Monday-Friday am - pm, no weeknights, weekends, or holidays
