The Area Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of CORE's community programs focused on improving public health and strengthening community resilience throughout California. The Area Manager will work collaboratively with the Area Director, CORE senior management, and associated Program Managers and personnel to define program goals, including identifying and applying for funding for future programming.
Main Resposnisbilities :
- Oversee strategic planning and implementation of programs and activities in accordance with program goals and mission of the organization.
- Collaborate with other departments, leaders across the organization and other partners in the development and administration of the program.
- Creates and fosters a collaborative and positive relationship building dynamic with internal staff and external agencies / organizations.
- Identifies growth opportunities and further efficiencies that impact the program success and aids in the development of strategic plans to achieve objectives.
- Serves as subject matter expert for the organization.
- Responsible for developing and implementing any applicable education, training, on-boarding and / or mentorship of staff.
- Responsible for planning and managing program fiscal budgets and financials.
- Ensures compliance with grant guidelines, local, state, and federal laws.
- Maintains staff and program compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Researches, gathers, organizes, summarizes data for evaluating performances of program or other program operations.
- Develop, evaluate,recommend and implement procedures for data collection, management, and quality control.
- May analyze data for trends or conclusions and presents results and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Liaise with community partners and funders.
- Identify and pursue operational and funding partnership opportunities with local and state governments, private and non-profit sectors and maintain current partnership relations and communication.
- Perform any other work-related duties if applicable.

In accordance with CA law, the expected pay range for this CA position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
